This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• The Project Manager acts as the Project Lead and the primary contact for sponsors, responsible for the overall project delivery (quality, time, cost) on behalf of the organization.
• The Project Manager sets and communicates customer expectations to the project team, ensuring adherence to escalation pathways both internally and externally.
• This role involves leading a cross-functional project team to meet or surpass deliverables.
• Accountable for delivering the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality) by collaborating closely with Global trial and functional leaders.
• Ensures adherence to escalation pathways internally and externally.
• Maintains financial stewardship at the trial level by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the contract, ensuring resource alignment with the budget, managing Out-of-Scope activities, driving the Change Management process/negotiations, and ensuring the team meets timelines.
• Establishes, communicates, and manages customer expectations to ensure optimal delivery throughout the project.
• Leads Risk Identification and Issue Resolution at the project level.
• Ensures project team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific standards.
• Responsible for vendor management as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) in a scientific discipline.
• Previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (equivalent to 8+ years), including a minimum of 2 years in project/trial management.
• Relevant scientific and clinical expertise along with outstanding project management, risk assessment, contingency planning, and communication skills.
• Extensive understanding of clinical development related to one or more trial phases (I, II, III) and cross-functional drug development.
• Proficiency in Good Clinical Practices (GCP), International Council for Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, and regulatory requirements pertaining to clinical development.
• Capability to establish and execute operational plans effectively.
• Technical and systems competence, including proficient use of applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as organizational systems.
• Ability to delegate tasks and effectively prioritize both personal and project team workloads in a dynamic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
