Project Lead – Data and Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee data and analytics initiatives from start to finish, managing scope, schedules, resources, budget, and risks to guarantee successful results.

• Offer guidance, mentoring, and support to cross-functional project teams, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

• Establish robust client relationships by comprehending business objectives, facilitating discussions, and providing strategic insights on data and analytics solutions.

• Gather, evaluate, and clarify business requirements through stakeholder interviews, process evaluations, and analyses to define project goals and solution needs.

• Convert business requirements into precise functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation that direct solution design and development.

• Supervise solution design and implementation to ensure that technical strategies align with business goals, quality benchmarks, and user expectations.

• Manage the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, uniformity, and readiness for reporting and analysis.

• Direct the creation of dashboards and reports that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and tailored to client reporting requirements.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer, user enablement, and continuous support to assist clients in adopting and effectively utilizing delivered solutions.

• Evaluate deliverables for precision, completeness, and quality, addressing any issues to ensure solutions meet project and client expectations.

• Keep abreast of trends in data, analytics, and the Microsoft ecosystem to enhance project delivery, spark innovation, and inform strategic recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, particularly managing projects utilizing the Microsoft Data stack, including Power BI.

• Strong project management capabilities with a proven history of successfully completing projects.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing project teams.

• Experience in interpreting and translating business requirements into actionable project plans.

• Proficient in data analysis, database querying (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Solid understanding of business processes, project management, and IT methodologies, including Agile.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Capability to stay informed on industry trends and apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
