This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Assist the Business Unit Controller in the monthly recording of revenue for Unit, Fee for Service, and Fixed Price contracts.
• Input project budgets into Oracle/Revenue Wizard and manage project setup data within Oracle and related systems.
• Prepare monthly analyses and reports comparing actual results to budget/forecast variances.
• Compile monthly financial forecasts and backlog submissions.
• Conduct project close-out reconciliations.
• Review signed Work Orders and Change Orders for any bonuses or discrepancies.
• Gather, evaluate, and consolidate financial outcomes alongside the Business Unit Controller.
• Develop annual budgets for costs and expenses, cost rates, forecasts, utilization, headcount, revenue backlog, and gross profit reports.
• Refresh predefined reports.
• Participate in project meetings, project kick-off meetings, and monthly project review sessions.
• Track project revenues, gross profit, receivables, unbilled amounts, close-outs, and reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with accounting software packages.
• Experience with Oracle Finance is preferred.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent financial acumen, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• High personal motivation to achieve objectives.
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Capability to multitask effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ability to occasionally move within the office and between different office locations.
• Ability to maintain a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move office items and packages weighing between 10–35 pounds.
• Capability to consistently operate a computer and office productivity equipment.
• Ability to perceive and evaluate written materials for prolonged periods.
