This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.
• Identify, assess, and monitor potential bidding opportunities.
• Review and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates that include quantity takeoffs, labor, materials, equipment, tools/consumables, transportation, and temporary living arrangements.
• Solicit, evaluate, and analyze quotes from subcontractors and vendors for inclusion in project estimates.
• Conduct site visits to confirm scope, drawings, and logistical elements.
• Facilitate turnover meetings with Project Managers for successful bids.
• Assist Project Management in pricing change orders and additional work.
• Maintain estimating software and cost history databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction is required.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant project management or estimating experience is required.
• Experience in preparing budgets, cost estimates, and conducting project financial analyses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project-related software.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal government entities.
• A valid state driver’s license is required, and the candidate must be qualified to operate a vehicle under the Company's Driving Policy.
• Must be able to pass drug, driving, and background screenings.
• Familiarity with HCCS “HeavyBid” and/or Timberline/Sage software is preferred.
