Project Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversees all engineering activities and other necessary preparations to execute the contract within budget and on schedule.

• Strategizes, organizes, implements, and ensures the completion of solutions to meet client needs.

• Identifies and anticipates the required skills and work arrangements to achieve project goals.

• May oversee and coordinate the daily operations of engineers and other personnel assisting in the completion of specific project tasks.

• Acts as the representative of the Company in communications with external organizations to address inquiries, plan, and coordinate efforts.

• Suggests plans and cost-effective improvement initiatives that enable the project to fulfill its business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of project life cycles, methodologies, and phases.

• Solid grasp of specific engineering disciplines.

• Knowledge of supply chain and procurement practices.

• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Experience in stakeholder coordination, team collaboration, and client presentations.

• Skills in prioritization, deadline management, and multitasking.

• Expertise in root cause analysis, innovative thinking, and adaptability.

• Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and NRC regulatory standards.

• Experience with Advanced Reactors and/or Small Modular Reactors.
