This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead the execution of AI infrastructure initiatives from the signed agreement to construction readiness.
• Take ownership of integrated development timelines, budgets, milestones, and the pre-construction risk register.
• Coordinate permitting processes, entitlements, utility planning, infrastructure strategies, and owner responsibilities.
• Provide recommendations for Go / No-Go decisions as projects progress through critical development milestones.
• Ensure the Delivery organization receives development-ready projects with comprehensive documentation and reduced risk.
• Establish criteria for development readiness and standards for project handoffs.
• Confirm that permits, utility agreements, infrastructure plans, owner deliverables, and development commitments are fulfilled prior to turnover.
• Deliver projects to the Delivery organization with thorough documentation, clearly defined scope, and minimized development risks.
• Proactively identify and address development risks before they affect construction.
• Act as the main development liaison among Site Selection, Technical Due Diligence, Engineering, Energy, Finance, Legal, and Delivery teams.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, environmental consultants, surveyors, permitting specialists, and other external partners.
• Align internal stakeholders and external consultants to mitigate scope, schedule, and cost fluctuations throughout the development process.
• Over 8 years of experience in data center development, industrial development, infrastructure projects, land development, or mission-critical initiatives.
• Proven experience in managing permitting processes, entitlements, utility coordination, consultant oversight, and development planning activities.
• Strong grasp of infrastructure development, including budgeting for owners, development scheduling, risk management, and pre-construction planning.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, utilities, design, legal, and construction domains.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred experience in supporting hyperscale data center or AI infrastructure development.
• Preferred experience with utility coordination, entitlement strategies, infrastructure planning, and representation of owners.
• Preferred experience with self-development or joint venture delivery models.
• Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, or similar professional certification is preferred.
