Project Developer – Mining & Metals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of mining projects in South America.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for water and wastewater treatment solutions with corporate mining clients throughout South America.

• Create strategic sales plans tailored to individual mining accounts.

• Align key accounts and geographic areas with specific offerings from the Aquatech portfolio.

• Utilize prospecting, opportunity generation, relationship selling, strategic selling, and closing techniques.

• Maintain strong, positive relationships with key and primary client accounts.

• Achieve revenue targets and business development objectives.

• Oversee and expand a designated sales territory.

• Cultivate and strengthen client relationships to meet revenue targets.

• Travel approximately 35–50% of the time.

• Engage in sedentary work and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 pounds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in direct sales and/or operational consulting within the South American mining sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Business, or Engineering.

• Willingness to travel approximately 35–50% of the time.

• Possession of an active passport.

• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Strong corporate communication and selling skills.

• Expertise in strategic selling and strategy formulation.

• Proven presentation and communication abilities.

• Capable of building new relationships with existing and prospective clients while providing exceptional client service.

• Highly organized with effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and fulfill sales goal metrics.

• Competent in managing the challenges of travel by air or road, including navigating to client locations for business.
