Project Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive price and time estimates for translation projects.

• Track the progress and budget of all projects, providing status updates to the Project Manager.

• Maintain real-time spreadsheets for both internal and client use.

• Generate purchase orders for service providers.

• Prepare files for translation and organize projects effectively.

• Draft clear and thorough project instructions.

• Review files prior to client delivery.

• Build and sustain excellent relationships with vendors globally.

• Offer administrative assistance as required.

• Promote effective communication within the international project team.

• Contribute to fostering a positive and healthy work atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in translation, linguistics, philology, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Capability to follow directions, prioritize, and schedule tasks effectively.

• Ability to perform under pressure with high volume and tight deadlines.

• Efficient time management and multitasking abilities.

• A positive and proactive team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with Translation Management systems and CAT tools is advantageous.

• Proficiency in other foreign languages and experience in a multicultural setting is a plus.
