This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all facets and personnel of the company’s Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department.
• Participate in weekly reporting meetings with the Project Coordinating Department.
• As a Department Head, you may be required to work outside of regular business hours, including Saturdays, to meet operational deadlines.
• Communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and handle a wide variety of projects.
• Facilitate cross-training of employees to ensure functional redundancies across project responsibilities.
• Develop and supervise the division of labor within both the Project Coordinating and Field Tech Departments.
• Direct and manage employee schedules, responsibilities, and maintain a high-functioning office operating Monday through Saturday.
• Work efficiently and promptly in high-pressure situations on complex problems/projects, providing solutions to difficult challenges.
• Lead and manage a dynamic office environment, clarifying tasks and providing direction on projects.
• Schedule projects, coordinate technicians, update clients on progress and results, and ensure successful project completion.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year university.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Environmental sector or a related industry.
• Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene are advantageous (CAC, LI-RA, CMI).
• Laboratory experience is a plus.
