This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily functions of the Project Coordinating and Field Technician Departments.

• Direct and manage departmental staff, including scheduling, assigning roles, delegating tasks, and evaluating performance.

• Organize and prioritize field projects to guarantee timely scheduling and completion of work.

• Act as a bridge between project coordinators, field technicians, clients, laboratories, and internal teams.

• Manage client interactions, including updates on projects, results of clearances, technical inquiries, pricing, proposals, and service-related issues.

• Analyze and interpret laboratory results and technical findings, accurately conveying relevant information.

• Supervise the preparation, review, and approval of reports, reporting tables, invoices, emails, and other deliverables for clients.

• Collaborate with laboratories concerning sample analysis, results, turnaround times, and issues related to project timelines.

• Facilitate cross-training among team members and develop workflows that sustain operational efficiency and coverage.

• Conduct departmental meetings, track project status, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues impacting deadlines or client satisfaction.

• Train, mentor, and offer feedback to team members while upholding quality and productivity standards.

• Efficiently resolve complex operational and client-related issues.

• Maintain strong client relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Assist the Operations Director with departmental planning, resource distribution, and process enhancements.

• Contribute to business development by recognizing opportunities to market company services.

• Be available to work outside of regular business hours, including occasional Saturdays, when necessary to meet operational deadlines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.

• At least 2 years of experience in the environmental sector or a related field.

• Prior experience supervising staff and managing departmental operations, schedules, and workloads.

• Exceptional project coordination and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and competing priorities.

• Strong leadership, delegation, and decision-making capabilities.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional and client-focused approach.

• Proficient in effective communication with clients, field technicians, laboratories, homeowners, and internal teams.

• Working knowledge of environmental testing, laboratory analysis, and related technical concepts.

• Experience in reviewing and interpreting laboratory results, technical reports, and other project documentation.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing reports, invoices, emails, and client deliverables.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to learn company databases, project management systems, and other software applications.

• Capability to work effectively under pressure, quickly solve problems, and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Experience in training, mentoring, and developing team members.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

• Proactive in identifying and eliminating obstacles for clients and internal teams.

• Documented experience working remotely with a dedicated home office setup, reliable computer, quality headset, and stable internet connection.

• Willingness to work a Monday-Saturday operational schedule as required, including occasional hours outside of regular business times.

• Preferred: Experience in environmental consulting, environmental testing, industrial hygiene, or a related technical services field.

• Preferred: Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, or Industrial Hygiene, such as CAC, LI-RA, or CMI.

• Preferred: Prior laboratory experience.
