This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
β’ Oversee all functions and personnel within the company's Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department.
β’ Participate in weekly reporting meetings with the Project Coordinating Department.
β’ As a Department Head, you may be required to work beyond standard business hours occasionally (including Saturdays) to fulfill operational deadlines.
β’ Demonstrate effective communication, multitasking abilities, and manage a diverse array of projects.
β’ Facilitate cross-training among employees to ensure functional redundancies in project duties and responsibilities.
β’ Develop and supervise the division of labor within both the Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department.
β’ Direct and manage employee schedules, responsibilities, and maintain a high-performing office operating Monday through Saturday.
β’ Work swiftly and efficiently under high-pressure situations involving complex problems or projects, providing solutions to challenging scenarios.
β’ Lead and manage a dynamic office environment, clarifying tasks and offering guidance on projects.
β’ Organize project schedules, coordinate technicians, provide client updates and results, and ensure successful project completion.
β’ A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year university.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in the Environmental or related industry.
β’ Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene are advantageous (CAC, LI-RA, CMI).
β’ Laboratory experience is a plus.
