This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee all functions and personnel within the Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department of the company.
• Participate in weekly reporting meetings with the Project Coordinating Department.
• As the head of the department, you may need to work beyond regular business hours occasionally (including Saturdays) to meet operational deadlines.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, multitasking abilities, and manage a wide array of projects.
• Implement cross-training for employees to ensure functional redundancies across various project tasks and responsibilities.
• Design and supervise the division of labor within both the Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department.
• Direct and manage employee schedules, duties, and roles while maintaining a highly efficient office operating from Monday to Saturday.
• Work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations involving complex problems/projects and provide solutions to challenging scenarios.
• Manage a fast-paced office environment, clarify tasks, and offer guidance on projects.
• Organize project schedules, coordinate technicians, update clients with progress and results, and ensure project completion.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year university.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Environmental sector or a related industry.
• Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene are advantageous (CAC, LI-RA, CMI).
• Laboratory experience is a plus.
