This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Project Coordinating and Field Technician Departments.
• Direct and manage departmental staff, including scheduling, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring performance.
• Organize and prioritize field projects to guarantee timely completion.
• Facilitate communication among project coordinators, field technicians, clients, laboratories, and internal departments.
• Manage client interactions, project updates, clearance results, technical inquiries, pricing, proposals, and service-related issues.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results and technical findings.
• Supervise the preparation, review, and approval of reports, reporting tables, invoices, emails, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with laboratories regarding sample analysis, results, turnaround times, and project timeline challenges.
• Cross-train team members and create efficient workflows.
• Conduct departmental meetings to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and resolve deadline or client satisfaction issues.
• Educate, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Address complex operational and client-related challenges.
• Foster client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist the Operations Director with planning, resource allocation, and process enhancements.
• Be available to work outside of regular business hours, including occasional Saturdays, as required.
• Uphold the confidentiality of company business records.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• At least 2 years of experience in the environmental sector or a related field.
• Prior experience in supervising staff and managing departmental operations, schedules, and workloads.
• Exceptional project coordination and organizational abilities.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in effective communication with clients, field technicians, laboratories, homeowners, and internal teams.
• Familiarity with environmental testing, laboratory analysis, and relevant technical concepts.
• Experience in reviewing and interpreting laboratory results, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn company databases, project management systems, and other software tools.
• Capacity to perform effectively under pressure, solve problems swiftly, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Experience in training, mentoring, and developing team members.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• High standards of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
• Proactive in identifying and eliminating obstacles.
• Demonstrated experience working remotely.
• A dedicated home office setup, reliable computer, quality headset, and stable internet connection.
• Willingness to work a Monday-Saturday operational schedule as needed, including occasional off-hours work.
• Preferred: Background in environmental consulting, environmental testing, industrial hygiene, or similar technical services.
• Preferred: Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, or Industrial Hygiene, such as CAC, LI-RA, or CMI.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a laboratory setting.
