This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
β’ Oversee all functions and personnel within the Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department of the company.
β’ Participate in weekly reporting meetings with the Project Coordinating Department.
β’ As the Department Head, you may be required to work beyond standard business hours occasionally (including Saturdays) to fulfill operational deadlines.
β’ Communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and handle a diverse range of projects efficiently.
β’ Facilitate cross-training of employees to ensure functional redundancies across project duties and responsibilities.
β’ Create and monitor the division of responsibilities within the Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department.
β’ Supervise and coordinate employee schedules, responsibilities, and maintain a high-functioning office from Monday to Saturday.
β’ Operate effectively and promptly in high-pressure situations involving complex problems/projects, providing solutions to challenging scenarios.
β’ Lead and manage a dynamic office environment, clarifying tasks and offering guidance on projects.
β’ Organize project schedules, coordinate technicians, provide updates and results to clients, and ensure timely completion of projects.
β’ Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from a four-year university.
β’ At least two years of experience in the Environmental or related industry.
β’ Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene are advantageous (CAC, LI-RA, CMI).
β’ Laboratory experience is considered a plus.
