This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Oversee the FORGE Engineering Cell’s study program, including scheduling, milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies.
• Consolidate outputs from the process engineer and equipment engineers into cohesive design basis documents.
• Integrate foundational data from the team into cost and scheduling estimates.
• Identify and resolve conflicts between workstreams, such as when the ideal process flow clashes with the optimal facility layout.
• Assist government stakeholders with technically substantive project documentation.
• Monitor risks, unresolved questions, and design decisions in a structured manner to facilitate swift decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver integrated project status updates to TNC leadership.
• Outstanding organizational and communication abilities: capable of translating complex technical trade-offs into clear decision-making frameworks.
• Experience with megaprojects or large capital programs, preferably in a technical integrator or lead project engineer capacity.
• Deep understanding and experience with a FEL stage gate framework.
• Strong technical background in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, or similar)—sufficient to actively participate in technical discussions, not merely observe.
• Proven capability to manage complex, ambiguous, early-stage projects where the scope is continuously evolving.
• 4–8 years of experience in project engineering or technical program management within heavy industry, energy, aerospace, or defense sectors.
