This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create architectural drawing packages for various concurrent electric vehicle facility projects.
• Develop site layouts, feasibility studies, and initial concepts for both new and existing electric vehicle facilities.
• Generate site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details.
• Investigate relevant code requirements and compile code analyses across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate architectural layouts with project specifications, owner standards, and internal design criteria.
• Ensure uniformity across a portfolio of prototype-based facilities.
• Engage in design reviews and integrate client feedback into deliverables.
• Create and manage Revit models throughout the design process.
• Conduct model quality reviews, audits, and necessary cleanups.
• Establish and uphold BIM standards, templates, families, shared parameters, and document consistency for projects.
• Assist in model organization, file management, and maintenance of data integrity.
• Contribute to standardized prototype documents and reusable design assets.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency across recurring project types.
• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure.
• Over 6 years of architectural experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam.
• Experience in producing schematic design and design development documentation.
• Experience with BIM model management.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes and the ability to interpret applicable code requirements.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Preferred: experience in EV, automotive, industrial, mission-critical, or prototype facility design.
• Preferred: familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies.
• Preferred: experience with Google Workspace.
• Preferred: experience with Miro.
• Option for remote work.
• Base salary ranging from $120K to $150K annually.
