This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and coordinate intricate satellite programs, focusing primarily on institutional and government-funded projects (e.g., DLR, ESA, national initiatives)
• Guarantee excellence in program execution from start to finish, encompassing schedule, cost, risk, and quality management, adhering to institutional and defense-grade standards (e.g., ISO/AS9100)
• Create and apply scalable procurement strategies that comply with public procurement regulations and governance frameworks
• Establish, oversee, and enhance strategic supplier partnerships, particularly within the German industrial ecosystem
• Direct contract negotiations and placements, aligning commercial goals with institutional and regulatory requirements
• Act as a primary liaison with external stakeholders, including agencies, prime contractors, and public partners
• Improve internal processes to ensure auditability, traceability, and compliance characteristic of government-supported programs
• Assist in the development of future satellite generations by aligning procurement and partnerships with long-term institutional strategies
• Over 5 years of experience in project and procurement management within institutional, government-backed, or publicly funded programs
• Extensive experience in the German space, aerospace, or high-tech industrial sectors
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs with stringent governance and compliance standards
• Strong grasp of public procurement processes, contractual frameworks, and regulatory conditions
• Experience in satellite manufacturing, integration, or testing environments is highly preferred
• Excellent negotiation skills in structured, high-stakes situations
• Comfort engaging with senior institutional and governmental stakeholders
• Proficient in German (mandatory) and possess excellent English communication abilities
• Experience in the spacecraft industry is essential; backgrounds in aerospace or automotive fields may also be considered
• Strong knowledge of the German market and experience collaborating with German customers, partners, or public-sector stakeholders is a plus
