Project Administrator/Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Analyze data and create visual representations to support findings and recommendations.

• Provide technical guidance regarding data collection tools.

• Offer technical assistance to clients.

• Share performance results.

• Facilitate meetings with clients and lead requirements-gathering sessions.

• Grasp business and technical needs while clarifying data and reporting requirements.

• Update stakeholders on project statuses and identify any obstacles.

• Convert stakeholder feedback into actionable solutions and deliverables.

• Assist in peer reviews, quality assurance, and validation processes.

• Resolve issues related to data and visualizations.

• Conduct research and analyze data products, schemas, source systems, calculations, business rules, and data-cleaning methodologies.

• Suggest enhancements for dashboards and visualizations while ensuring data integrity and enhancing usability, clarity, and analytical value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in identifying, repairing, and maintaining data collection systems.

• At least five (5) years of experience in developing guidance on accessing and interpreting data products, along with providing both verbal and written technical assistance.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in preparing data, including retrieving very large datasets, connecting and merging multiple data sources, and implementing filters, joins, unions, counts, and other operations.

• At least five (5) years of experience in interpreting data, recognizing trends and patterns, and deriving conclusions from datasets.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in creating and maintaining dashboards/maps using Tableau or Power BI.

• Experience in preparing and querying data with Tableau Prep Builder or Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).

• Ability to successfully pass a minimum background investigation (MBI) or background investigation (BI) conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting workforce development programs along with employment and training initiatives.

• Preferred: Familiarity with WIPS and PIRL.

• Preferred: Quantitative analysis experience with tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, Tableau, Python, etc.
