Programs and Business Operations Lead

📋 Description

• Create actionable business analyses that empower functional leaders to deliver consistent information to teams and stakeholders

• Provide precise, data-informed insights utilizing SQL, Excel, and Tableau

• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to convert business objectives into program requirements and go-to-market strategies

• Identify growth opportunities, design experiments, validate hypotheses, and scale successful strategies

• Develop tools and offer data support to teams for effective decision-making

• Produce materials that convey strategy and business performance to key stakeholders

• Oversee cross-functional workstreams encompassing product, marketing, data science, finance, partnerships, and business operations

• Formulate and implement strategies to enhance Airbnb's success

• Define success metrics for programs and create tools and frameworks that facilitate faster team progress

• Cultivate relationships and provide guidance to foster growth within the Airbnb community in the marketplace

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in a consulting role or in strategy and operations, with exposure to multiple geographies

• Capacity to quickly prioritize and execute new initiatives thoroughly

• Competence in analyzing and developing plans to address key business priorities or challenges

• Leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

• Initiative-taking capability and comfort dealing with uncertainty

• Strong enthusiasm for engaging with the Airbnb community

• Proficiency in managing complex projects and multitasking, backed by excellent organizational abilities

• In-depth knowledge of supply and demand dynamics, incentive design, and growth strategies

• Preferred background in loyalty programs, incentive programs, or merchandising

• Keen attention to detail and focus on macro-level outcomes

• Strong internal and external communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

• Skill in working proactively with minimal guidance amidst uncertainty

• Data-driven mindset, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovative products and solutions

• Proficient with Excel and SQL

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
