Program Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Guide the planning, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Women in Payments’ leadership and community initiatives.

• Supervise the entire program delivery process, from conception and planning through execution and post-program assessment.

• Oversee multiple simultaneous programs such as Leadership Collective, Global Mentorship Program, POM Cafés, MC6 Spotlights, and various other initiatives aimed at community engagement.

• Create and uphold program timelines, project plans, and workflows to guarantee timely delivery and high-quality standards of the programs.

• Act as the main point of contact for program participants, speakers, partners, and sponsors.

• Handle a significant volume of sponsor communications, ensuring that sponsor obligations and participation align with program goals.

• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with participants and partners to facilitate program success and sustained engagement.

• Organize all program logistics, including invitations, participant confirmations, session scheduling, and preparation materials.

• Manage speakers and hosts, covering outreach, application coordination, scheduling, and preparation.

• Oversee program execution for both virtual and in-person events, including development of run-of-show, speaker readiness, and technical coordination.

• Monitor and evaluate program engagement, participation, and performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, event management, or community engagement roles.

• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple initiatives concurrently.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in managing stakeholders, sponsors, and senior-level participants.

• Proficiency in project management tools, CRM or association management systems, and Microsoft Office.

• Experience in coordinating virtual and in-person events or leadership programs is considered a plus.
