This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Comprehend and/or create a program statement of work (SOW) along with customer component application requirements.
• Lead the development and management of strategies to mitigate obsolescence.
• Establish and/or maintain a proactive Obsolescence Management process.
• Facilitate resolutions through the support of lifetime buys and the selection of alternative parts.
• Assist in contract negotiations and the formulation of supplier statements of work.
• Provide briefings to program leadership to foster agreement on strategic decisions.
• Perform trade study analyses to pinpoint cost-effective obsolescence cut-in points.
• Travel to Raytheon locations as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient understanding of both proactive and reactive component obsolescence management methodologies.
• Skills in data collection, analysis, and presentation to address the system impact of component obsolescence issues.
• Experience in developing and managing Bills of Material (BOM) for both developmental and production programs.
• Knowledge of Obsolescence Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, and Subsystems Design.
