This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
β’ Oversee extensive programs or segments of highly complex initiatives valued up to $10M
β’ Lead and coordinate the activities of the project team
β’ Supervise project managers or technical staff as direct reports
β’ Manage and oversee various disciplines and technologies involved in projects
β’ Engage with key customer stakeholders and senior management
β’ Collaborate with sales to develop overall project strategies aimed at increasing revenue
β’ Conduct needs assessments and gather requirements
β’ Establish program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets, and performance metrics
β’ Oversee projects from initiation to completion or transition
β’ Monitor and assess project performance
β’ Ensure compliance with program plans, quality metrics, and budgetary constraints
β’ Suggest corrective actions and implement necessary changes
β’ Identify and mitigate risks while implementing risk management strategies
β’ Acquire both internal and external resources
β’ Allocate project personnel and essential resources
β’ Act as the primary liaison to internal teams
β’ Manage complex vendor relationships
β’ Lead communication and negotiations with both internal and external clients
β’ Contribute to proposals, statements of work, specifications, and cost estimates
β’ Identify and manage program enhancements along with process improvements
β’ Conduct project evaluations throughout the lifecycle of the project
β’ Foster a motivated team atmosphere with support from engineering, systems integration, and departmental resources
β’ Proactively gather lessons learned
β’ Implement best-practice project management methodologies
β’ Allocate resources effectively to meet financial and customer satisfaction objectives
β’ This is a remote position based in the United States
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% is required
β’ Previous experience in people management is essential
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Project and similar applications for project schedule management
β’ Experience in project risk assessment and risk management strategies
β’ Must be a self-driven team player capable of working efficiently with general guidance toward objectives
β’ Exceptional interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities are necessary
β’ PMP Certification is preferred
β’ Must successfully pass a criminal background check
β’ Required to pass and maintain CJIS Security and Privacy: Privileged Role certification requirements
β’ High School diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, Management, or Technology
β’ At least 5 years of experience in Public Safety and Project Management, specifically managing complex deployments and/or software application implementations for State and Local public safety agencies
β’ Must be able to obtain security clearance as mandated by government clients
