This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Analyze and document provider revenue cycle processes, concentrating on areas of concern highlighted through current revenue cycle methodologies.
• Offer best-practice revenue cycle guidance and recommendations for provider revenue cycle operations.
• Lead small teams and projects that support consulting engagements.
• Identify challenges or opportunities within the revenue cycle processes in provider settings and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
• Work directly with provider departments as required.
• Manage customer expectations and adhere to service-level agreements/timelines while keeping customers informed.
• Provide client support for Revenue Integrity applications and end users.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of methodologies, client-facing presentations, ROI calculator materials, internal education, product campaign schedules, and policy/procedure information.
• Support internal sales, product development, RFPs, and large/multi-product deals as a subject matter expert.
• Keep up-to-date with industry and product knowledge, adapt to changes in the market and competition, participate in regional/national meetings and forums, and promote brand/deliverable awareness within the territory.
• Complete special projects related to customer needs and support.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve objectives.
• A bachelor's degree in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, audit denial, and/or consulting is required.
• Relevant industry experience may substitute for previous consulting requirements.
• Over 5 years of experience working with revenue cycle vendors.
• Understanding of process mapping and workflow redesign is preferred.
• Lean management experience is preferred.
• Strong preference for experience with healthcare information systems (HIS), EPIC, and Cerner.
• Experience with third-party payors, denials management, and claims processing is preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proven capability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong customer service orientation.
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a robust work ethic.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements.
