Program Manager – Program Delivery, Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of programs from start to finish: define the project scope, establish the framework, create the delivery strategy, and oversee execution.

• Lead the initiation of programs, which includes identifying stakeholders, defining scope, sequencing activities, and establishing governance structures.

• Manage intricate stakeholder environments that span multiple functions.

• Make strategic decisions regarding program structure, sequencing, and necessary trade-offs.

• Offer clear guidance on scope, structure, and direction for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.

• Facilitate alignment across organizations beyond the pod level.

• Oversee delivery health reporting for your programs.

• Identify and manage risks at the program level.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in program or project delivery, showcasing a clear trajectory from execution to program ownership.

• Possession of a PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PgMP).

• Experience in a SaaS or technology-oriented business environment.

• Proven history of managing complete programs from initiation to successful delivery.

• Demonstrated capability to navigate complex, multi-functional stakeholder environments.

• Strategic thinking skills applied to program structure, sequencing, and decision-making regarding trade-offs.

• Established ability to ensure cross-organizational alignment beyond pod level.

• Strong capability in delivering health metrics and reporting at the program level.

• Skill in providing clear scope, direction, and structure for project delivery teams.
