Program Manager, Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with large-scale strategic product initiatives, encompassing product modernization, AI/ML integration, and other transformative multi-quarter projects.

• Collaborate with product owners and project teams to ensure initiatives progress according to plan.

• Develop and sustain precise, timely, executive-ready status reports and dashboards.

• Monitor milestones, KPIs, success metrics, budget, resource status, and delivery schedules.

• Recognize and escalate risks, issues, blockers, and cross-team dependencies, proposing recommended solutions.

• Set up and facilitate project reviews, checkpoints, steering committees, and governance meetings.

• Drive accountability for agreed timelines, deliverables, action items, and unresolved matters.

• Customize project-status communications for project teams, stakeholders, and senior executives.

• Offer leadership visibility to assist in prioritization, trade-off, and sequencing decisions across the portfolio.

• Work in collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience.

• Proven experience managing and reporting on strategic projects from inception to delivery.

• Practical experience using AI tools for program management and reporting.

• Experience incorporating AI into daily operations.

• Capacity to create clear, accurate, executive-level status reports and dashboards, and effectively present project progress to senior leadership.

• Experience in identifying, tracking, and escalating project risks, issues, and dependencies while driving resolutions with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in establishing and managing project governance meetings.

• Preferred: PMP certification; PgMP.

• Experience overseeing large-scale, complex, or transformative initiatives in a software, SaaS, or technology setting.

• Background in a large, multi-product software organization or a portfolio shaped by mergers and acquisitions.

• Familiarity with ERP or industry-specific software.

• Experience collaborating with or within a Product Management organization with product roadmaps and release processes.

• Experience delivering project updates to senior executive audiences.
