Program Manager, Pharmacy Operations – Contract to Perm

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the execution, growth, and sustained operational success of Evergreen's pharmacy initiative.

• Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy program, encompassing enrollment, outreach, documentation, and workflow processes.

• Lead, mentor, and assist Pharmacy Care Coordinators through onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and career development.

• Create and uphold operational workflows, standard operating procedures, training materials, scripts, and job aids.

• Track enrollment, productivity, quality, and operational metrics; identify trends and initiate improvement strategies.

• Develop and sustain program dashboards, reports, and performance summaries.

• Drive implementation activities for new provider practices, markets, and expansions of the pharmacy program.

• Collaborate with provider practices, pharmacy partners, and internal stakeholders to address challenges and enhance performance.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for complex patient, practice, provider, workflow, or pharmacy issues.

• Conduct quality assessments, call audits, workflow evaluations, and documentation reviews to ensure standards and compliance.

• Evaluate enrollment performance, workflow efficiency, and operational results to enhance processes.

• Assist in staffing planning, workforce allocation, and resource management.

• Ensure adherence to patient privacy and confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare operations, pharmacy operations, patient engagement, patient enrollment, care management support programs, population health, or a similar healthcare setting.

• At least 2 years of leadership experience overseeing teams, programs, projects, or operational initiatives.

• Proven experience in leading high-volume patient outreach, enrollment, customer engagement, or operational workflow teams.

• Demonstrated experience in developing, monitoring, and enhancing operational performance metrics and key performance indicators.

• Experience in onboarding, coaching, developing, and assessing team members.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems and healthcare operational workflows.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

• Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations.

• Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.

• Ability to primarily work remotely during 8:30 AM – 5 PM Central or Eastern Time.

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

• A dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to safeguard PHI/HIPAA information.

• Occasional travel to practice sites may be required.

• Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare enrollment, patient engagement, population health, pharmacy services, implementations, medication adherence, nephrology/CKD/ESRD, dashboards, operational analytics, vendor management, or being bilingual in English/Spanish.
