Program Manager, Medical & Scientific Affairs – IVD, Medical Device

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee essential projects and cross-functional teams within the MedSci department, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget management.

• Facilitate the implementation of MedSci projects by utilizing Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, including VPM, VSM, Daily Management, and Action Plans, along with essential software such as Smartsheet, Miro, and the Microsoft suite.

• Employ problem-solving techniques to address significant challenges.

• Provide operational support for the objectives, KPIs, and maintenance of existing standard work within Medical Affairs.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of MedSci evidence sites, generate medical insights, and report on critical projects.

• Assist in processing clinical and medical content for Medical Affairs directed at external audiences through established internal approval workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, with a preference for candidates possessing over 7 years of program management experience, or an Advanced degree (PhD, MD) in biological sciences with a preference for 4+ years of program management experience.

• Capability to operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

• Proficient in making discerning, balanced decisions and interpreting business issues to recommend best practices.

• Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement alongside the business.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Previous experience in in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with the product lifecycle from conception to commercial execution is beneficial.

• PMP certification is a plus; candidates must be willing to pursue PMP certification if not already certified.

• Experience in medical affairs is an added advantage.
