This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Oversee the effective implementation and delivery of satellite communication networks for customers, from solution development through to deployment and ongoing support.
• Manage and monitor existing support agreements and their renewals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding program activities and support agreements.
• Execute significant end-to-end communications network deployments.
• Coordinate project activities to adhere to budgetary and scheduling requirements.
• Create and deliver project status updates to management, project teams, and customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and proactive resolution of issues.
• Facilitate coordination of technical resources within the organization.
• Identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Review status reports from project personnel and adjust schedules or plans as needed.
• Provide prompt attention and problem resolution for global customers across different time zones, addressing software releases, bug fixes, technical bulletins, and hardware-related challenges.
• Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary, cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Experience in managing multiple concurrent programs.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in presentations to customers and senior leadership.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with all levels of management and customers.
• Strong understanding of business and project management processes and tools.
• Capability to foster customer and program-enhancing partnerships with Contracts, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and other support functions.
• Familiarity with government procurement, contracting, standards, and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• PgMP/PMP certification is preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must adhere to federal drug-free workplace and DoD DFARS requirements; illegal drug use, including marijuana, is disqualifying.
