Program Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple or collaborative energy efficiency initiatives

• Manage all facets of an energy program

• Collaborate closely with clients and energy professionals to meet energy efficiency objectives

• Responsible for monitoring program budgets and comprehending strategic directions

• Exhibit financial expertise and a problem-solving mindset

• Participate in the talent management process, which includes interviewing and performance assessments

• Deliver client communication and reporting

• Ensure that client requirements are fulfilled

• Assist in the management of partner and client contracts

• Create and sustain community engagement opportunities

• Lead and promote company-wide safety initiatives

• Serve as a stakeholder within the company by leading and supporting training and development efforts

• Recognize and nurture talent

• Prepare and present client presentations

• Generate monthly invoices and activity summaries

• Report on program performance and financial metrics

• Support Business Development with program design and client expansion initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required

• Preferred background in engineering, technology, or science with experience in a technical setting

• Experience with lighting, HVAC, and other technology applications is preferred

• Technical expertise in developing and/or assessing energy savings calculations to determine paybacks and incentive levels for clients is preferred

• At least 4 years of management experience or 2 years of experience managing energy efficiency programs

• Demonstrated history of high performance in achieving and surpassing expectations and objectives

• Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate suitable work assignments to team members

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, customers, and team members

• Sales or business development experience is advantageous

• Ability to analyze and interpret data while solving practical issues
