Program Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage various energy efficiency programs independently with minimal support from senior management.

• Supervise all components of an energy program while collaborating closely with clients and energy specialists.

• Participate in the talent management process, which includes interviewing candidates and conducting performance assessments.

• Facilitate client communications and generate reports.

• Administer program operations to guarantee that client needs are fulfilled.

• Assist in the management of partner and client contracts.

• Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with the client program team and work in tandem with Senior Leadership.

• Create and sustain opportunities for engagement with the community and trade allies.

• Lead and contribute to the company's Safety initiatives.

• Generate monthly invoices and activity reports as required for the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

• Preference for candidates with a background in engineering, technology, or science and experience in a technical setting.

• Preferably possess experience with lighting, HVAC, and other installed technologies.

• Technical expertise in creating and/or reviewing energy savings calculations to assess paybacks and incentive levels for customers is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of management experience or at least 2 years managing energy efficiency programs.

• Proven history of exceptional performance in meeting and surpassing expectations and objectives.

• Demonstrated leadership ability in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of prioritizing workload and effectively delegating tasks to team members.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, clients, and staff.

• Background in sales or business development is advantageous.

• Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data as well as solving practical issues.

• Dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
