Program Manager, Facility Design, Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership at the program level across various simultaneous data center design initiatives.

• Oversee program performance metrics including schedule adherence, budget management, staffing, and risk assessment.

• Identify and address program-level obstacles that may hinder successful delivery.

• Ensure uniform execution across an array of projects and clients.

• Assist Design Managers and Project Managers in achieving successful project outcomes.

• Contribute to business development and proposal drafting for new opportunities. Lead the preparation of significant technical and commercial proposals, which include: Go / No-Go coordination, proposal timelines and deliverables management, fee strategy coordination, staffing plans and resource alignment, executive review coordination, and interview preparation and coaching.

• Collaborate closely with Client Account Managers and Technical Leaders.

• Enhance proposal processes, templates, and winning strategies.

• Support strategic pursuit capture planning.

• Act as a primary contact for key strategic clients.

• Engage in client meetings, presentations, and program evaluations.

• Assist Client Account Managers in fostering strong client relationships.

• Help identify new opportunities within current client programs.

• Aid in managing client expectations and overall client experience.

• Travel as necessary for project-related tasks, including client meetings and site visits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, along with eight (8) years of pertinent experience, or a demonstrated equivalent of experience and/or education.

• At least 5+ years of experience in managing complex programs or significant projects.

• Proven experience in supporting or leading proposal initiatives.

• Strong comprehension of the A/E/C project delivery process.

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

• Strong business and financial insight.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
