Program Manager, Email Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Composes, develops, edits, tests, reviews, and dispatches emails and automations to support the organization’s fundraising, advocacy, and brand awareness objectives while enhancing relationships with our supporters;

• Aids in the formulation and execution of the email marketing fundraising strategy (defining, creating, testing, and evaluating) to achieve goals and enhance the organization’s email communications;

• Offers daily guidance and strategic direction to Email Marketing Specialists;

• Conducts research and keeps abreast of assigned campaign activities to maintain a dynamic and consistent email program that aligns with the organization’s mission;

• Updates and oversees standard operating procedures for the team, which includes but is not limited to production manuals and templates;

• Trains new and existing team members on processes and technologies;

• Remains informed about new technologies, online communication systems, and digital strategies;

• Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience is required;

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in digital marketing, with at least two (2) years specifically in email marketing is required;

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, basic web design, email, website, and constituent management systems (such as Engaging Networks) is required;

• Experience within an advocacy or non-profit organization is highly desirable;

• Exceptional project management skills for planning, executing, and following up on issues, projects, and daily tasks to meet established deadlines with minimal supervision;

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential;

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven adaptability and the capability to manage multiple, often shifting priorities and complex issues while meeting time-sensitive deadlines and deliverables;

• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships by fostering trust and respect, demonstrating high standards of tact, diplomacy, and discretion;

• Solid understanding of basic HTML and web design;

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member;

• Familiarity with constituent management systems (Engaging Networks is a plus);

• A strong interest in animal protection issues is desired.
