This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver strategic leadership in project management for a portfolio of extensive and intricate renewable engineering services projects.
• Oversee the overall project scope, timeline, and budget with minimal supervision.
• Make crucial project decisions and facilitate project meetings.
• Lead negotiations on contracts, manage contract execution, and develop proposals.
• Ensure sufficient project resources are secured.
• Analyze issues, identify alternative solutions, assess project impacts, and implement recommendations.
• Manage collaborative, multidisciplinary project teams across various functional areas.
• Coach teams and direct conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation efforts.
• Coordinate communications, deliver status updates, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Work in conjunction with Project Controls to manage schedules and costs in accordance with the plan.
• Develop, revise, and oversee project plans.
• Evaluate project risks and create mitigation strategies.
• Handle requests for information and track action items.
• Navigate projects through both internal and external processes.
• Promote continuous process enhancement for program initiation, execution, and closure.
• Maintain client satisfaction and address both project and non-project-related issues.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Project Managers to enhance revenue and broaden service offerings.
• Assist in the development and review of proposals.
• Foster positive relationships with existing clients.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects, or substantial experience in complex thermal/conventional power generation.
• Direct project management experience with utility and/or renewable energy initiatives.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and/or P6 is preferred.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Advanced knowledge of project finances and expenditures.
• Expert grasp of contracts and agreements and their effective application.
• Capability to mentor less experienced team members.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Skill in preparing clear and concise status updates and reports.
• Competence in reading and interpreting construction and procurement contracts.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including conflict negotiation/resolution and engaging stakeholders.
• Ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Must be willing to travel to project sites as necessary.
• Must comply with safety policies.
• Must adhere to client Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs.
• Experience in reporting, tracking, and resolving non-conformance issues with QA/QC.
