Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Direct program management for the DOS Consular Affairs Passport Modernization Program

• Supervise special projects for Passport teams in collaboration with Regional Directors and Passport Analysts

• Manage and monitor Consular Affairs projects throughout pre-order, order, and post-order phases

• Assist with design intent workshops, establishment of new passport centers, agency relocations, CXone technology implementations, and hardware upgrades

• Coordinate installations, site access, logistics, P&L, scheduling, and reporting

• Supervise multiple teams, including Passport program managers, Consular Affairs teams, and private-sector partners

• Offer direct support to the Passport Agency Coordination Lead, Regional Directors, and Program Analysts

• Travel a minimum of 50% of the time to around 35 domestic passport-center locations and additional sites as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 18 years or more of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 16 years or more, or PhD/JD with 13 years or more

• Alternative qualification statement also indicates a Bachelor's degree with 17 years of experience or a Master's degree with 15 years of experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Over 10 years of experience supporting federal agencies

• Experience with the U.S. Department of State preferred

• Proven experience overseeing complex, multi-year project deployments

• Background in vendor and team management

• Experience facilitating communication between federal customers and private-sector partners/vendors

• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Must possess an active Secret Clearance

• Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time
