This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee assigned programs by applying standards and consensus procedures, reviewing audits, and addressing issues with audit reports in collaboration with Task Groups, staff engineers, auditors, suppliers, and management to ensure PRI success.
• Manage a minimum of two commodities/programs, focusing on the establishment and enforcement of best practice programs and procedures.
• Ensure that audit reports for the designated commodities are thoroughly reviewed and comply with established policies and procedures.
• Supervise assigned staff engineers, which includes selection, performance management, and employee relations (minimum of 5 staff members).
• Oversee program level activities of independent contractors to guarantee effective execution of programs.
• Manage assigned budgets, including projections, regular reviews, approvals, etc. (ranging from $2-5M).
• Play a direct strategic role in supporting management councils, committees, sub-teams, or major projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects/processes simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines and strict procedural requirements.
• Independently staff an NMC committee or sub-team.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or a related field.
• 12 years of experience in a relevant industry.
• 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate diverse professional scenarios.
• Ability to influence and motivate groups to maintain processes that are critical to organizational success.
• Capability to mobilize resources by identifying and deploying the necessary personnel to achieve results; adept at sourcing information and resources.
• Demonstrated business management skills and experience, including a general understanding of contract/business law, environmental regulations, and budgeting/accounting principles.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating a computer and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience as a Staff Engineer is preferred.
