This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy, execution, governance, and continual enhancement of the enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery program.
• Take ownership of and enhance the business impact analysis process, which includes identifying critical business processes, mapping dependencies, assigning ownership, developing risk-rating methodologies, and creating recovery strategies.
• Create and sustain business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, crisis management processes, and documentation for essential business and technology operations.
• Facilitate cross-departmental execution involving Technology, Security, Office Operations, Vendor Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, and business process owners to ensure that continuity and recovery plans are practical, tested, and up-to-date.
• Organize disaster recovery drills, tabletop exercises, remediation tracking, and evidence gathering to enhance organizational readiness and fulfill audit or regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and refine program repositories, workflows, and reporting, which includes records of business impact analyses, recovery plans, testing documentation, program metrics, and remediation statuses.
• A bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, information security, risk management, or program management.
• Over 8 years of experience in leading or significantly advancing business continuity, disaster recovery, or operational resilience programs.
• Proven experience in designing or enhancing business continuity, disaster recovery, or operational resilience programs within a banking, fintech, lending, or other regulated financial services context.
• Experience in performing business impact analyses, recovery planning, dependency mapping, resilience testing, and remediation tracking.
• Familiarity with implementing or operating under business continuity, disaster recovery, or operational resilience frameworks or standards such as ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, or corresponding regulatory guidance.
