Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the implementation of high-quality programs.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with medical providers and clinic personnel.

• Perform regular in-person evaluations to monitor model adherence, pinpoint strengths and challenges, and create action plans for ongoing quality enhancement.

• Assist new clinics with the application and onboarding procedures.

• Collaborate with clinic teams to boost parent/caregiver involvement and ensure the sustainable integration of programs.

• Foster champions within clinics and health systems to support the long-term success of the program.

• Partnership Development and Sustainability.

• Aid local and statewide initiatives to incorporate Reach Out and Read within early learning and family support networks.

• Identify and establish connections with community partners.

• Program Data and Reporting.

• Guarantee the timely and precise completion of biannual site progress reports.

• Keep accurate records in organizational databases.

• Book Support and Funding.

• Assist sites in book selection, ordering, and tracking processes.

• Offer guidance to clinics on fundraising and identify programs requiring support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Commitment to enhancing equity in opportunities and outcomes for children.

• Preferred 2–5 years of professional experience in social work, healthcare, early education, literacy, parenting support, or a related domain.

• Experience in supporting program implementation, continuous quality improvement, or professional development in healthcare, education, or family-serving systems.

• Proficient in electronic communication and productivity tools, including databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

• Capability to work standard business hours, along with some early mornings, evenings, or weekends; occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
