Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the overall success of one or more strategic client programs and create roadmaps that align with customer and business objectives.

• Align various projects with program goals, manage competing priorities across workstreams, and drive both strategic planning and long-term execution.

• Maintain visibility into program health, focusing on schedule, scope, budget, risks, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with governance standards and escalate issues proactively to avoid delivery impacts.

• Lead executive-level customer meetings while presenting program health dashboards and reports to internal leadership.

• Translate technical delivery into clear business outcomes and insights ready for decision-making.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Account Management, and Delivery Leadership to forecast revenue and resource needs, enhancing forecast accuracy.

• Monitor profit margins, review change orders, identify financial risks, and maintain overall financial visibility without taking on daily project accounting responsibilities.

• Identify program-level delivery risks, resource constraints, vendor risks, customer dependencies, schedule conflicts, scope expansions, and operational bottlenecks, and formulate proactive mitigation strategies.

• Communicate risks promptly with clear and actionable mitigation plans.

• Mentor Project Managers, facilitate effective decision-making, drive accountability, and eliminate organizational obstacles.

• Foster collaboration across departments and influence results through leadership rather than hierarchy.

• Build and maintain executive customer relationships, understand long-term business goals, anticipate future opportunities, manage expectations, and resolve escalations to enhance customer confidence.

• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Portfolio Leadership, Engineering, Field Services, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across delivery organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience managing complex technology projects.

• More than 3 years of experience managing multi-project programs.

• Proven experience in leading enterprise infrastructure deployments.

• Strong executive-level communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Proven track record of managing competing priorities effectively.

• Demonstrated financial acumen.

• Strong understanding of project governance principles.

• Experience with portfolio reporting.

• Familiarity with enterprise technology delivery environments such as data centers, structured cabling, network deployments, cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT, AI infrastructure, or Professional Services organizations.

• Experience with tools like Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and Power BI is advantageous.

• Strategic thinking and executive presence when engaging with customers, executives, and technical and senior leadership audiences.

• Leadership skills to build alignment, motivate teams, and drive accountability across various organizations.

• Business acumen and sound decision-making capabilities across customer success, operational excellence, financial performance, data, experience, and business priorities.

• A proactive risk-management mindset with the ability to develop practical mitigation strategies.

• Capability to establish trusted customer relationships.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Travel requirements are less than 10%.
