Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and execute complex programs that involve multiple teams.

• Supervise the comprehensive delivery of substantial technical or strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals.

• Manage program timelines, milestones, and deliverables with a high level of accountability.

• Track progress and ensure that programs remain on schedule, within scope, and on budget.

• Implement programs utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as needed.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration.

• Coordinate efforts across engineering, product, operations, and business teams to ensure a common understanding and effective execution.

• Convert business requirements into actionable technical specifications.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Manage risks, dependencies, and issues.

• Recognize program risks early and devise mitigation strategies.

• Address blockers and resolve cross-team challenges to sustain delivery momentum.

• Establish and maintain program structure and governance.

• Create and manage program schedules, roadmaps, and documentation.

• Set standards, processes, and best practices for effective program execution.

• Communicate program status and outcomes effectively.

• Provide routine updates to leadership regarding progress, risks, and strategic implications.

• Support strategic planning and long-term vision.

• Assist in defining high-level objectives, roadmaps, and success metrics for programs.

• Assess program strengths and weaknesses to promote continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the industry.

• PMP certification is mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.

• Experience in enterprise software delivery, including knowledge of deploying enterprise software in both SaaS and on-premises environments, including hybrid architectures.

• Familiarity with common implementation dependencies: databases, application gateways, site-to-site VPN tunnels, SSO/identity providers, and secrets management.

• Exceptional written, verbal, client-facing, and internal communication skills, capable of communicating with executive/C-level leadership.

• Experience with change-management processes in professional services projects.

• Preferred experience in creating or reviewing professional services SOWs.
