This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic leadership for programs by managing governance, prioritization, and resource distribution across multiple project portfolios to ensure they align with organizational objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Uncover synergies and interdependencies across projects and business sectors through research, investigation, and comprehensive analysis to reveal connections, manage cross-project risks, and steer teams toward integrated, enterprise-wide solutions.
• Serve as the architect of the program's delivery framework by mapping the interrelations of projects, identifying cross-functional impacts and dependencies, and proactively addressing resolutions when intersections lead to conflicts, risks, or competing priorities.
• Create, sustain, and communicate program roadmaps, encompassing program-level plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation that promote transparency, alignment, and long-term strategy.
• Utilize data-driven insights to bolster decision-making, establish meaningful metrics, and track value realization, ensuring the program achieves expected business outcomes and fosters continuous improvement.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence by collaborating with project managers, cross-functional teams, and leaders to refine processes, enhance delivery practices, and support organizational growth.
• Influence without direct authority, effectively guiding internal teams, external partners, and technical resources to guarantee successful delivery across all program initiatives.
• Build robust relationships and navigate organizational dynamics to achieve alignment and desired outcomes.
• Advocate for strong change management practices to facilitate stakeholder readiness, adoption, and sustained use of program results—ensuring the program delivers its intended value and quantifiable business benefits.
• Develop and maintain detailed program reporting, including dashboards, status updates, and analytics that offer clear visibility into progress, risks, and value delivery.
• Implement standardized project and program management tools, frameworks, and methodologies in collaboration with project managers, project teams, and leadership to ensure consistent execution throughout the portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
• Project management certification, or specialized training by PMI or project methodologies (such as agile or AI-augmented project management).
• Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in health insurance/managed care or third-party administration sectors.
• At least 4 years of hands-on project leadership (IT and/or business) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Planner, or similar project management/business analysis tools.
• Proven experience in organizational change management and a readiness to articulate change management concepts and mindsets.
• A proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership; initiates action, drives decisions to completion, and advances work even amidst uncertainty.
• Unwavering follow-through; monitors commitments, escalates and resolves issues, and ensures cross-functional teams achieve agreed-upon outcomes and timelines.
• Competence in data and analytics to guide decision-making and program results.
