Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of the delivery of strategic programs from inception to launch, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, and budget.

• Establish scopes, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders while maintaining transparent communication as plans develop.

• Monitor milestones and adjust resource allocations to ensure programs stay on course.

• Coordinate strategies and priorities across various organizations.

• Act as the primary liaison for internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors.

• Recognize technical, financial, and operational risks and devise mitigation strategies.

• Resolve issues and ensure programs progress amidst evolving circumstances.

• Establish KPIs, report on program health and impact to leadership, and leverage data to enhance prioritization.

• Spearhead the implementation of tools, processes, and workflows, facilitating adoption through training and documentation.

• Anticipate resource requirements and assist in headcount and capacity planning with Customer Success leadership.

• Utilize program management best practices and SaaS industry insights to enhance execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience managing intricate, cross-functional programs, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or a similar technical setting.

• Technical proficiency with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Asana, Linear, or similar platforms.

• Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for interactions with executives, engineers, and external partners.

• Capability to define and monitor KPIs and utilize data for prioritization and process improvements.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or other relevant project/program management certifications.

• Experience with large enterprise clients or Big 4-style customers is advantageous.

• A background in Audit & Accounting is a plus.

• Experience in regulated or compliance-related areas is beneficial.

• Previous experience scaling PM practices in an early-stage or growth-stage startup is a plus.

• Must reside in the USA for the remote work arrangement.
