This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Oversee and manage a series of interconnected projects to achieve strategic business objectives in line with organizational goals.
• Direct Project Managers and cross-functional teams spanning Manufacturing, Engineering, and support services.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and address portfolio-level risks.
• Facilitate governance and decision-making processes.
• Ensure effective communication among portfolio stakeholders, program leaders, and project teams.
• Lead a team of Project Managers.
• Set program-level objectives and success metrics linked to business results.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to synchronize priorities and anticipated benefits.
• Define performance expectations and ensure accountability.
• Foster collaboration and ongoing enhancement within the PMO.
• Assist in the development of project management standards and best practices.
• Establish milestones, objectives, and goals based on input from functional areas and stakeholders.
• Coordinate the gathering, documentation, and approval of business requirements.
• Transform requirements into actionable tasks and prioritize them accordingly.
• Review project timelines and arrange necessary resources.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Propel tasks to completion while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct project cost analyses and identify strategies for cost reduction.
• Define and oversee resource capacity and time tracking.
• Identify and address problems, risks, conflicts, and issues.
• Manage project change control procedures.
• Provide stakeholders with updates regarding project status, variances, issues, risks, and corrective actions.
• Facilitate effective project communications and report on project metrics.
• Measure project KPIs and ensure work remains within scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints.
• Coordinate project-related RFIs/RFPs with external parties and internal IT procurement.
• Maintain relationships and communication with service providers.
• Review and authorize payment requests and change orders.
• Support coaching and development within the Project Management community and disseminate PMO best practices.
• Exhibit a commitment to customer service and address concerns effectively.
• Adhere to company security protocols.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 8–12 years of progressively responsible experience in leading medium-sized and/or medium-scope projects with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Acquired knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or shop-floor environment, particularly with product design and manufacturing execution systems.
• Proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Project.
• Ability to influence and inspire teams without direct authority.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a readiness to collaborate with diverse and geographically distributed teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, innovative, and capable of proposing solutions to complex, time-sensitive challenges efficiently.
• Collaborative decision-making skills with the ability to engage with all levels of management and stakeholders.
• High adaptability to evolving technology and environments.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
