This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide a comprehensive vision, strategy, and leadership for the business group while effectively communicating with the organization as necessary.
• Establish goals and objectives for the group, which include orders, sales, growth, operating performance, budget, and additional metrics to support the strategy.
• Develop and convey effective business plans along with ROI analysis to align with strategy and growth objectives.
• Lead the formulation of market, product, and technology strategies that align with the corporate strategic plan.
• Collaborate closely with the customer base, sales, marketing, and internal engineering resources, as appropriate, to ensure the strategy is robust and to create the plans for implementation.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs regarding new product and program development, ensuring clear communication of that information to relevant personnel.
• Direct a team of Program Managers to create and execute business plans, schedules, and budgets aimed at achieving site goals and objectives.
• Engage in necessary company planning sessions to formulate the group’s short- and long-term strategies, including technology and product roadmaps.
• Monitor and guide assigned staff to ensure the progress of established plans, recommending and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Define program tasks/milestones and oversee adherence to program budgets, plans, and timelines.
• Plan and allocate human and equipment resources to fulfill assigned objectives within designated schedules and budget commitments.
• Be attentive to customer needs, ensuring that customer satisfaction and product quality remain top priorities.
• Ensure that all direct reports and managed functions actively promote quality and customer satisfaction.
• Foster a culture of continuous product improvement across all company personnel.
• Maintain essential communication and collaboration with other company functions and business groups to support overall company goals and objectives.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Experience: Over 10 years of leadership experience in Aerospace & Defense; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in successfully implementing organizational change.
• Experience within the A&D electronics industry is preferred.
