Program Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and inspire diverse teams autonomously on various projects while overseeing a team of Project Managers.

• Supervise projects managed by direct reports to ensure that work remains on schedule, within budget, and aligned with internal protocols.

• Handle project scope, timelines, budgets, issues, risks, dependencies, and deliverable outcomes.

• Ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of digital projects.

• Serve as Scrum Master and guide Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, grooming, and planning sessions.

• Monitor and communicate scope changes, budget consumption, and potential timeline risks.

• Foster consensus and address project-related challenges and conflicts.

• Champion project teams, ensuring they have the necessary information and support for successful product delivery.

• Facilitate communication between project teams, client stakeholders, and senior management.

• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and follow up on outcomes.

• Act as a primary contact for clients, ensuring that expectations and results are met.

• Utilize project management systems for data-driven decision-making and reporting.

• Collaborate with clients and product owners to achieve business objectives through effective working solutions.

• Partner with Client Service Executives and Business Development to define, size, and develop new opportunities.

• Analyze, propose, and execute process enhancements.

• Establish best practices, technologies, and processes in collaboration with Program Delivery leadership.

• Coach and mentor team members.

• Oversee direct reports through project supervision, performance management, goal setting, conflict resolution, and career development.

• Cultivate client and internal relationships while contributing to Agile and project management standards.

• Pursue continuous learning to enhance skills, techniques, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

• Over 7 years of project management experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including a minimum of 2 years in Agile environments.

• More than 8 years of experience in a consulting or agency project management role.

• Familiarity with Scrum, Agile, and/or Waterfall management methodologies.

• Experience managing multiple teams simultaneously, consisting of 4 to 8 individuals.

• Proven experience in managing distributed or remote team members.

• Experience delivering large-scale digital projects valued at over $1 million and lasting more than 9 months.

• Comprehensive understanding of digital development processes and technologies.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, or equivalent project management tools.

• Experience with CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager and Drupal.

• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Magento and Shopify.

• Knowledge of Google Analytics.

• CSM and PMP certifications are advantageous.

• Some travel may be required.
