This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Facilitate authorization requests from initial intake to final payer decision.
β’ Allocate cases to clinical reviewers and track their progress until completion.
β’ Submit authorization requests along with necessary documentation to payers.
β’ Respond to incoming calls and provide frontline support for the team.
β’ Ensure accurate record-keeping and proper documentation of all information.
β’ Assist in process improvement initiatives and carry out additional tasks as needed.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ 0-2 years of applicable work experience.
β’ Preferred experience in a healthcare or healthcare operations setting.
β’ LPN, Medical Assistant (MA), or other relevant clinical licensure/certification preferred.
β’ Familiarity with medical terminology.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
β’ Customer service experience is desirable.
