Program Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Identify risks related to language, including ambiguous vehicle specifications, financing terms, tone inconsistencies, bias, and inclusivity, and implement preventive strategies across all NSC touchpoints.

• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor language quality and translation turnaround times.

• Promote continuous improvement through audits, feedback mechanisms, and upkeep of linguistic resources such as glossaries, style guides, and term bases, specifically for automotive sales, financing, insurance, and aftersales.

• Validate new and revised technical terminology.

• Recommend enhancements to the existing terminology.

• Address email inquiries regarding terminology.

• Assess translations and evaluate translation service providers.

• Serve as the coordinator of Language Champions and the single point of contact for other business areas and AG.

• Plan the capacity of other Language Champions and assess available capacity for tasks as a Language Champion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English with a preference for some understanding of German.

• Proven expertise in plain language, readability, tone, and brand voice development.

• Experience with technical or product copy and financial disclosures is an advantage.

• Background in leading and coordinating a team.

• A strong interest in automobiles.

• Moderate understanding of vehicle technology and aftermarket processes.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools and language automation in a sales/retail context, including financial content workflows.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.

• Ability to respond to and meet occasionally tight critical deadlines.

• Detail-oriented mindset.
