• Perform financial analysis and forecasting to aid the Division and individual Program business decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that support business initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, government regulations, and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate program costs, conducting financial analysis for labor, material, subcontract, and ODC estimates against budget and forecast.
• Execute variance analysis on forecasted results (EAC, Sales, Profit, and Cash), identifying specific factors contributing to deviations from estimates.
• Review contract awards and modifications to ensure proper alignment of accounting, billing, finance, and funding within relevant systems.
• Take responsibility for program financial forecasting, including the development and overall management of program Estimate-at-Complete (EAC).
• Create and maintain forecasting models for rapidly expanding program areas.
• Provide functional area support for the creation and maintenance of budgets.
• Identify risks and opportunities that are not included in the forecast.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, with a preference for government experience.
• US Citizenship and the capability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with government contract financials and the Defense industry.
• Knowledge of DCAA/DCMA requirements and compliance regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present financial data to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with various contract types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.).
