Program Control Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Engage daily with program managers, accounting teams, contracts, subcontracts, procurement departments, and external clients to resolve operational challenges.

• Generate financial deliverables and prepare both internal and external reports.

• Contribute to the creation of program budgets and spend plans while analyzing funding profiles and financial variances of the program.

• Execute cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analyses.

• Submit and manage purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials.

• Oversee subcontractor expenses and review/approve invoices accordingly.

• Evaluate, track, and authorize customer invoice supporting documentation.

• Efficiently multitask and provide accurate support across various programs.

• Assist throughout the entire program lifecycle, from proposal development to contract closure.

• Develop and suggest actionable strategies and recommendations for financial challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of three years of pertinent experience in Federal government contracting.

• Proven experience in delivering financial tracking and support for government clients in areas such as Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.

• Familiarity with general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations, and accounting and finance principles.

• Comprehension of ROS, ROC, annual operating plans, accounts receivable, revenue and profit forecasts, program baseline data, EAC development, and cost estimating/pricing.

• Capability to make decisions based on sound judgment while adhering to policies and procedures.

• Proficiency in presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner.

• Strong analytical skills to detect patterns and trends within financial data.

• Advanced skills in Excel for data modeling, financial analysis, and formulas.

• Must have or be able to obtain a Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.

• Preference for candidates with an active Interim Secret or final Secret clearance.

• US citizenship is mandatory.
