This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Offer technical support and program information related to waste management to clients and potential customers via phone and email.
• Create written materials including emails, newsletters, reports, web content, and presentations.
• Support virtual and in-person events by managing logistics, hosting online meetings, recruiting speakers, handling registrations, and facilitating networking.
• Conduct research on alternative waste material outlets.
• Input data into relevant platforms to monitor customer interactions and outcomes.
• Produce regular invoices and reports for clients, summarizing metrics and progress towards program objectives.
• Serve as a liaison among vendors, partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Travel occasionally throughout Central/Eastern MA and RI to deliver in-person presentations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and written communications, or 3-4 years in customer service (phone, email) along with experience in producing written deliverables such as newsletters, blogs, and program outcome reports.
• One year of experience in a waste-related field is preferred.
• Exceptional writing abilities with the capacity to create clear, organized, and engaging written content for tip sheets, case studies, blog entries, and other online materials.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers, clients, vendors, and colleagues through phone, email, meetings, and events.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with spreadsheets and other digital tools for data tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms is advantageous; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to manage multiple programs and deliverables in a team-oriented environment.
• Access to high-speed internet and a distraction-free working environment during business hours.
• Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian, or Chinese is a plus but not mandatory.
