• Oversee the complete execution of Engineering within the program, holding decision-making authority over Engineering activities.
• Facilitate Engineering Bid Reviews (EBRs) and Engineering Program Reviews (EPRs).
• Assist in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) concerning all Engineering-related issues.
• Manage the overall budget and schedule for Engineering tasks, collaborating closely with engineering discipline organizations to periodically assess program execution and ensure adherence to schedule and cost targets.
• Create actionable Estimates at Completion (EAC) for the program in conjunction with the Engineering Cost Account Managers (CAMs) responsible.
• Ensure staffing forecasts are precise and current, coordinating with Engineering discipline organizations to confirm suitable staffing allocations.
• Provide oversight and evaluate all program metrics related to engineering.
• Supervise and manage engineering Risks and Opportunities throughout the program, utilizing enterprise resources to mitigate significant risks and seize opportunities.
• Ensure effective management of engineering suppliers in compliance with subcontractor statements of work, requirements specifications, and engineering processes.
• Identify and leverage synergies across programs and the Enterprise.
• Deliver timely and accurate status reports to both Program and Engineering organizations.
• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Engineer, Project Engineer, or Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.
• Proficient understanding of various engineering disciplines with a strong emphasis on communications systems development.
• Familiarity with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Experience across all phases of the development program lifecycle.
• Knowledge in Risk and Opportunity management.
• An active and transferable SECRET clearance is mandatory prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Generally requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
